The Most Romantic Hotels in London for a Perfect Getaway

If you're looking for the perfect romantic getaway in London, you're in luck. The city is full of luxurious hotels that offer the perfect setting for a romantic escape. From iconic venues with opulent receptions to modern hotels with floor-to-ceiling windows, there's something for everyone. Here are some of the most romantic hotels in London that you should consider for your next romantic getaway.

The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is an iconic hotel that offers an unforgettable experience. From the grand staircase in the reception to the friendly elevator attendant, this hotel is the epitome of luxury. Couples can enjoy a romantic breakfast in bed or a timeless cocktail at the intimate Fumoir Bar. If you're looking for a treat, Claridge's is also known for its fabulous afternoon tea. NoMad London is located in Covent Garden, just a stone's throw from the Royal Opera House.

With more than 90 rooms and suites, this hotel is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway in central London. Amenities include a fitness center, personalized art program, and well-equipped old world style rooms. For breathtaking views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, stay at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. From the terrace of the penthouse suite, you can see all of London's iconic sights. Rooms are equipped with 49-inch Chromecast flat-screen TVs and Elemis toiletries, and the hotel also has a spa, pool, brasserie, and bar. The Sanderson is located in historic Fitzrovia and offers a decidedly modern experience.

With bedrooms designed by Philippe Starck and clean lines and flashy furniture, this hotel is sure to make your stay memorable. Couples can choose from two packages that include free room upgrades, champagne, breakfast served in the room, late check-out, and spa treatments. The Fire Station Hotel is an intimate and personal stay located in a Victorian fire station. With just 26 rooms and suites, each with at least one working fireplace, this hotel is perfect for couples looking for a cozy atmosphere. Don't forget to book a table at the famous restaurant on the ground floor. The Londoner offers floor-to-ceiling windows for romantic skyline views.

The hotel also has an underground spa with poolside huts and Refuel, which is not a cafeteria but a “superfood and beverage clinic”. For drinks, head to the izakaya (Japanese pub) on the rooftop. The London Edition is most famous for its Jason Atherton restaurant Berners Tavern. Even the lobby is special with its metal sphere suspended from the ceiling and cozy velvet sofas. This pleasant stay in Fitzrovia is perfectly located for visiting Soho, Oxford Street and the entire West End. The Mandrake has a terrace for sharing South American plates with live music soundtrack.

There's also an underground spa with poolside huts and Refuel, which is not a cafeteria but a “superfood and beverage clinic”. For drinks, head to the izakaya (Japanese pub) on the rooftop. Our first choice, The Ned, has plenty to offer at a reasonable price. With two gorgeous pools (one of which is on the rooftop), beautiful room designs, great restaurants including a rooftop bistro, The Ned offers plenty of options for couples looking for romance. For me, when it comes to finding a romantic hotel it's all about having great design features such as balconies or spacious bathrooms with bathtubs; creative room designs; and stunning views. The Ned has all these features plus plenty of cool amenities that come with your room.

Romance isn't just about having dinner by candlelight; it's also about having fun and planning ahead.
